This year’s Chiswick Book Festival will take place from September 14th to 18th 2017. Please save the dates and make a long weekend of it! The full programme will be published here at the end of July when tickets will go on sale.

The Festival will open on Thursday September 14th with a special Jane Austen evening at Chiswick House marking 200 years since the author’s death, with Paula Byrne (The Genius of Jane Austen), Helena Kelly (Jane Austen, The Secret Radical) and Dr Esme Whittaker, the curator of Chiswick House.
On Friday September 15th, at 5pm, Clare Balding will speak in St Michael & All Angels Church about her ‘Racehorse’ books for children. At 7.30pm, The Beatles biographer Hunter Davies will be at the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Theatre at Arts Ed, talking about the second volume of his memoirs, A Life In The Day, serialised in the Daily Mail: How Macca and Linda gatecrashed our holidays.
On the evening of Saturday September 16th, Jeremy Vine will talk about his new book, What I Learnt. Watch here for more details and updates.
