Don’t miss Ronnie Archer-Morgan of Antiques Roadshow

Ronnie Archer-Morgan of BBC One’s Antiques Roadshow will talk about his new memoir, Would It Surprise You To Know? in the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Theatre at ArtsEd in Bath Road W4, at 8pm on Friday September 9th 2022. Tickets, price £10, go on general sale on Tuesday July 26th via this website.

Ronnie has worked in the antiques business for 30 years but spent his childhood in and out of the English care system, experiencing abuse, racism and brushes with gangs and the police. His life turned a corner after his first visit to the V&A Museum where a lifelong fascination with art and antiquities was born.  He recently spoke to The Times Magazine and appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Saturday Live with the Revd Richard Coles, who is also speaking at this year’s Chiswick Book Festival, and Gyles Brandreth, who spoke last year.

“What a life! Ronnie has overcome a heart-breaking start in life to achieve great success and no one deserves it more.” – Fiona Bruce.

Our Friday evening arts talk is sponsored by The Arts Society Chiswick, which holds monthly lectures, runs cultural visits and events and offers heritage volunteering opportunities. It is a Diamond Partner of the Festival.
Please save the time and date: 8pm, Friday September 9th 2022. Tickets go on sale on July 26th on our website.
