Chiswick Book Festival named ‘indispensable’

The Chiswick Book Festival has been named one of the UK’s best literary festivals for 2026 by The Glossary magazine.

In its report, The Glossary calls the Chiswick Book Festival “one of London’s most quietly indispensable literary festivals,” and notes:

“Since it started in 2008 the Chiswick Book Festival has quickly established itself as a key event with well-known speakers and highly produced sessions ranging across a huge variety of topics.

A non-profit community event raising money for reading charities, it unfolds across an array of characterful Chiswick venues.”
