Chiswick Auctions, well known in west London for their popular monthly ‘Interiors, Homes & Antiques’ sales, will be joining us at the Chiswick Book Festival 2021 to provide free and confidential valuations, in everything from fine art to furniture to jewellery.
Pay a visit to the Chiswick Auctions gazebo and chat to Matt Caddick, Executive Director and General Valuer, who will be available to value a wide range of objects from modern, mid-century and antique furniture and furnishings to jewellery and watches. Joining Matt at the valuation stand to provide their expert advice are:

Chiswick Auctions and Anthony Burgess
On Tuesday September 7th at 2pm, Chiswick Auctions holds a 19th and 20th Century Photography sale. Lot 241 is a 1992 Jane Bown portrait of Anthony Burgess, who lived in Chiswick for several years and is featured on the Festival’s ‘Writers Trail’. Read more at ‘Anthony Burgess in Chiswick’.
It is also sponsoring the panel session on Sunday September 12th, ‘Why no blue plaque for Anthony Burgess in Chiswick?’, with writer John Walsh and English Heritage curatorial director Anna Eavis.
