.
From 6.30pm:
– Book signing by James O’Brien,
LBC presenter and author of the Sunday Times best seller, How to be Right
– Launch of Chiswick’s new ‘Read Well’ Book Club
Find out more from the organisers of the new monthly book club, which aims to bring local people together to read and reflect on books being published on mental wellbeing. It’s an initiative from ‘Better Mental Health in Chiswick’ – a volunteer group established last year to improve mental health locally, working in partnership with other organisations to raise the profile of mental health and challenging stigma. Find out more by email:  bettermentalhealthinchiswick@gmail.com or on Twitter @BMHC_ #readwellbookclub.
Admission free, no ticket required.

.
From 7pm to 9pm: Waterstones Local Authors Party

On the eve of the Festival, over a glass of wine or Sipsmith gin and tonic, Torin Douglas and Jo James showcased the wealth of local talent that Chiswick has to offer. Each author had just two minutes to speak about their book, making this a fast-paced, fun and fascinating evening.
The event was kindly sponsored by Sipsmith, which is launching SIP: 100 Gin Cocktails.
Waterstones, 220-226 Chiswick High Road.
