About Us

The Chiswick Book Festival brings together top authors and their readers for a week of history, poetry, biography, creative writing, fiction, thrillers, gardens, food, wine, politics and children’s books.

The sixteenth Chiswick Book Festival will take place from 11 to 18 September 2024. You’ll get a flavour for it from last year’s brochure.

The Festival is a non-profit-making community event, raising money for St Michael & All Angels Church, which hosts the event, and three charities which in 2023 were these.

We’re grateful for the support of authors and publishers, local booksellers (including Waterstones, Bookcase, Fosters and Oxfam Bookshop), our business partners, venues and local media: Chiswick Library, ArtsEd, Chiswick House & Gardens, Chiswick Cinema, Hogarth’s House, George IV, Theatre at the Tabard, Orchard House School, chiswickW4.com, chiswickbuzz.net, Chiswick Herald, and TheChiswickCalendar.co.uk.
